The 2.6 miles between Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park and the Channel District have always been Tampa's public living room, but this summer the center of gravity has moved. For years the south end near Sparkman Wharf pulled the weekend crowds while the stretch above Kennedy Boulevard felt like a pass-through.
